November 9th, 2011St Martin’s Day 11th November
On Friday 11th November, there will be a Communion Service at 9am instead of Morning Prayer when we will celebrate St. Martin’s Day.
Armistice Day 11th November
At 11am Friday 11th November, there will be a short act of remembrance with two minutes’ silence and the reading of the names of those who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars from this parish.
Remembrance Day service Sunday 13th November
There will be a non Eucharistic service at 10:30am. At this service there will be representatives from two local Scout Groups and the Church Lad’s Brigade.
Advent Sunday 27th November and Bring & Share Lunch
Last year we enjoyed a memorable bring and share lunch and had a“Feast before the Fast”. Please do come along and bring a dish to share. There will be a list of dishes at the back of the church.
Christian Aid – Postage Stamps and Foreign Coins
We have two ways to help Christian Aid.
Firstly, by collecting any used postage stamps especially foreign ones. Please place the stamps in the envelope at the back of the church.
Secondly, please place any unwanted foreign coins in the small collecting box at the back of the church.
Nativity Play – Crib Service 3pm on 24th December
If you child would like to be in the nativity play this Christmas, please sign the list at the back of church. Casting will be done at the beginning of December, there are limited places.
