Twelfth Sunday after Trinity Service sheets 30th August 2020
June 10th, 2020In response to this current climate we are placing all our Sunday sheets online to download, print or electronically share with our parishioners, to help reach our congregation over the coming weeks and months.
We will also be providing a homily for each Sunday for you to use and share if you wish.
We hope this goes someway to create a sense of togetherness, especially for those living in isolation.
Sunday Blue Service Sheet
Provides all that is necessary for full participation in the Sunday service. Contains the essential parts for each Sunday in a clear and easy-to-follow design. Sunday Blue follows the Common Worship lectionary (related readings) and the psalm translation is also Common Worship, with a specially composed musical setting included. The readings are from the NRSV translation.

Look
Look is a Sunday sheet for children between 4-9 years old providing Gospel-focused activites and games for younger children. It is useful for children’s liturgy, school religious education and for family use.
Each week the Gospel story is explained in age appropriate language. A prayer and a variety of activities that will engage the children are included to help each child get to know the person of Jesus.
As with everything Redemptorist Publications provides Look links faith to the everyday lives of the children.
Look is A4 and blank on one side.
Sunday Homily
This is short sermon on the Sunday readings that will help readers to see with fresh eyes scripture that might have become too familiar to them over time, losing its power. Written in everyday language that helps those reading it to apply lessons and truths to their lives.
At this challenging time of isolation and cancellation of services/Masses continuing to follow the lectionary and remain connected to the Church year will, we hope, support people in their faith.
Taken from the publication Lost for Words ,we are delighted to offer you this homily for use this Sunday.
